saki newsletter 4/29!

How do you do, good people!? Did you go see Waxahatchee this weekend? Did you come see Today's Hits and MTV Ghosts with us at Powell Brew House's party? Did you watch Game of Thrones at The Burlington on Sunday night? We did all of those things! It was a fun weekend. We hope you can say the same! Weekly new release sale:

This week we're offering Divino Niño, Klaus Johann Grobe and 31ø8 for 20% off!

Divino Niño - Pool Jealousy LP

Dreamy, psychedelic dream pop, utilizing world percussion inspired by their Latin American roots. This is the Chicago-based band's debut LP that experiments w/ washed out reverb, dynamic vocal ranges and lush soundscapes.

Klaus Johann Grobe - Im Sinne Der Zeit CD and LP

Debut full-length from the Swiss duo. With the ability to conjure up the ghosts of Neu!, Bob James, Marcos Valle, Shuggie Otis and Stereolab in the span of a single tune - this is the kind of album that sounds and feels like it's floating off the grooves, alternately swaying between the fluid, jazzy, and (yes) funky rhythms and cool, deliberate mechanized grooves that squeal and squiggle w/ the pulse of an electronic heart.

31ø8 - S/T CD and LP

Hailing from London, England, Tyler Zypreska has been building up an impressive backlog of tunes that hit all the sweet spots from O.M.D. to La Dusseldorf, to Trio & the pining ennui of the teenage angst-anthems littering your 'Pretty In Pink' & 'Breakfast Club' soundtracks. Although his influences may lie in the discarded neon bones of the 80's & 90's there's an infectious spark of melodic tune-smithing permeating the album's 10 tunes
