Ukulele Crazy!

I'm a big fan of the new record from tUnE-yArDs - which is out today on 4AD. Merrill Garbus, the lady behind the project utilizes her voice, drums, and field recordings and loops them through a digital voice recorder and shareware mixing soundware to create a gnarly, eclectic funky sound. She also uses a ukulele in her songs, and uses the instrument in a very unorthodox method.
