Adrian Younge is a hip-hop producer turned orchestral mastermind. He's probably best known for his score to the 2009 blaxsploitation film, Black Dynamite. Venice Dawn is a piece that predates his Black Dynamite work, and is actually a sort of film score itself - an italian horror film score that is. The EP was originally pressed in a run of 1,000 and sold personally by Younge in the LA area. Now the venerable Wax Poetics has released it as a free EP download in anticipation of an upcoming debut full-length called Something About April
