Terrastock 7 took place in Louisville in June 2008 on the site of an old slaughterhouse and meat packing plant. The majority of the plant has been transformed into a very cool artist space full of funky studios, galleries, and performance spaces.
Most of the slaughterhouse is still standing untouched. Here it is on a wet, cloudy Kentucky day. The soundtrack to my photo shoot was Sleeping Pill (the front 2/3 of Yo La Tengo)
