A Winged Victory For The Sullen

More than just something to tide us over until the next Stars Of The Lid album, A Winged Victory For The Sullen's inaugural effort is a superb album in its own right -- a beautiful and blissed-out slice of shimmering ambience. AWVFTS is SOTL's Adam Wiltzie and Dustin O' Halloran, and they'll be performing at Lincoln Hall with fellow Kranky artist Benoit Pioulard on November 6th, as well as all over the country. AWVFTS' self-titled effort is out next Tuesday, and remember: as with all shows at Schubas and Lincoln Hall, if you buy it at saki, you'll be on the list for the show with a plus one!!!
