A rather excellent lineup for this event at the Empty Bottle next Thursday, with Chicago's very own Zelienople playing with Jake Lingan and Neil Jendon. The best part? It's free, with an RSVP. Zelienople will be playing music from their forthcoming "The World Is A Burning House" LP, which is easily the best thing I've heard since, well...their last full-length ("Give It Up" on Type) Also, their percussionist Mike Weis will be playing with up-and-coming talent Angel Olsen (who has been working with Will Oldham as of late) and Mind Over Mirrors at the Burlington next month on February 15th. If you haven't checked out their new room, you should -- it's a terrific place to see live music!!!
