We've got a mint used copy of Numero's Boddie Recording Co. 5LP box set in the shop!From 1958-1993, Thomas & Louise Boddie's industrious Boddie Recording Co. issued nearly 300 albums & 45s, recorded 10,000 hours of tape, & remained in operation longer than any other studio, pressing plant, or label in the history of Cleveland, Ohio. These tracks represent the best of Boddie's in-house labels, which released an unspoiled treasure trove of kitchen-sink eccentric soul, fuzzbox funk, shoestring doo-wop, & haunting spirituals.
The box set also includes a book and some replica ephemera from Boddie! We don't expect this one to last too long.
