This week we're changing it up a bit. We've got TWO weekday events and only one on the weekend. Weird, right?? Tonight we welcome back the weirdest comedy show in town, Senorita Weiner's Top Secret Humor Experiment and Ice Cream Social Club! These guys always bring a top-notch lineup of standup comedy and if you stick around for the whole show there's ice cream at the end! The show's at 7:30. Show up early and don't miss a joke! You bring your own booze. We've got the ice cream!
Wednesday night we're hosting a new show at Lincoln Hall called Once In A Lifetime. This is pretty similar to our Punch-Up series where we get some of Chicago's best comics to "heckle" a terrible movie. This time our friends at Everything Is Terrible are providing us with an especially awful "Lifetime" movie called Cyber Seduction: His Secret Life. It's about a teenage boy who gets addicted to internet porn and for some reason his family and friends have a problem with that... we don't get it either. It's sure to be terrible so Marty DeRosa, Dan Friesen and Megan Gailey will be there to guide us through it - meaning they'll totally trash this waste of film for your amusement. Good times! We hope to see you there.
On Saturday we've got another Epitonic saki Session at 4pm with two of our new local favorites, Sewingneedle and The New Diet! Fans of Pedro The Lion's more rockin' side or Sebadoh/Archers of Loaf-style indie rock, you should definitely come check these guys out! As you can probably guess, we'll be recording these live sets for Epitonic saki Sessions. You can download or stream the tracks from Epitonic shortly after the set!
Next week we've got another EsS, this time with Hospital Ships and Suns! Hospital Ships' have a new record called Destruction In Yr Soul coming out tomorrow and we've got it for 20% off as part of our weekly new release sale!
