Songwriter Josh Miller still burns with the fiery restlessness that peppered his tunes on their 2011 s/t debut, but rather than bash and crash their way thru a 2 and a half minute pop ditty, they ease their way from verse to chorus without sacrificing any of their token pop smarts.

2nd full-length from Chicago group formerly known as APTEKA. They have seamlessly reinvented and redefined the shoegazey aesthetic of Gargoyle Days and refined their sound to produce a superb rock and roll record. While this still retains that certain spacey, heavy and psychedelic, wall-of-sound feel, it transcends previous material by leaps and bounds, gaining comparisons to everything from Ride, Smashing Pumpkins, Dinosaur Jr and The Men.
