saki newsletter 10/8/13!

Hey! Thanks to all the comic artists and folks who came out for the opening of Comics Hangout last Friday! We'll keep all the original comic panels, screenprints, etc. up for the month. Don't forget to check out the table with a massive amount of handmade comics and zines too! There is some VERY cool stuff in there and most of it is around $5.

This Friday we're hosting our very first improv show at saki! Dirty Cool Kids With Mommy Prison Tattoos features some of our favorite teams in Chicago, Pizza Party, Dead $$$ and Feldmanowski! It's an improv show so it could be very GOOD or very BAD. Come find out which!

Next Saturday we've got a bit of a double-header with Quasi playing an Off The Record listening party at 5pm and then at midnight we'll head over to Lincoln Hall for an extra special, spooky, late night Once In A Lifetime screening at Lincoln Hall! The movie is Devil's Diary and since it's a Lifetime movie it's probably not scary at all. Fortunately, the Puterbaughs, Jeff Steinbrunner and Natalie Jose will be there to make fun of it for us!

So get ready for all that stuff, folks. We hope to see you there!
