Weekly new release sale!

Each week saki will be offering a handful of new releases for 20% OFF! You can check the blog, Facebook, Twitter, or our newsletter, to find out which titles will be discounted. We'll choose 2-3 titles each week and they'll be discounted for their entire first week of release!

This week we're offering new releases by Wooden Shjips, Coke Weed and Rudimentary Peni for 20% off!

Wooden Shjips - Back To Land CD and LP

With each consecutive release, the band has found new ways of transforming heady psychedelic rock into minimalist masterpieces, bridging the gap between the woozy freeness of Les Rallizes Denudes and Crazy Horse, and the tightly wound simplicity of Suicide and the Velvet Underground. Here, the band's scope is expanded to include more earthy, grounded tones, such as the acoustic guitar, w/o abandoning their modernist psych core.

Coke Weed - Back To Soft CD and LP

Coke Weed's self-released debut has charmed the pants off of both CMJ and Rolling Stone (featured on RS Top Ten College Albums, as well as hanging in CMJ's Top 20 for a full month). The band has immersed itself in '60s psych-rock, pledging allegiance to the likes of Jefferson Airplane

Rudimentary Peni - Archaic CD and LP reissue

"Archaic" deals more with personal experience than the majority of the bands previous releases. The 12 songs on the album cover a variety of darker topics including mortality, despair, cremation, and the closing of the British national health service. The brevity of the lyrics (often a single line) is matched by the pummeling harshness of the guitar riffs, which hammer away as if pouring salt into an open wound.
