saki newsletter 1/14/13!

Hey there, loyal readers! We didn't have much to speak of at the shop this past weekend, other than the usual delightful customers and sparkling conversation, but we would like to congratulate our friend Chris Hefner for two very successful screenings of his new movie The Poisoner at Lincoln Hall! The movie was amazing and we were treated to some songs (new and old) by one of our favorites, Daniel Knox (who also scored the film) before the screening. If you get a chance to see Chris' movie, don't miss it!

Now onto THIS week, and oh, what a week it! We've got some VERY special TNK-sponsored in-stores going on, starting with Diane Coffee at 5pm tomorrow (Wednesday), followed by Mutual Benefit with Thin Hymns on Friday at 3pm, and one (possibly two) more on Saturday and Sunday. We can't tell you all about those yet, but stay tuned to the blog and all those other social media outlets for updates. It's gonna be real good...

We're also offering 20% off all releases from TNK 2014 bands this week in lieu of our usual new release sale, so come take advantage of that as well!
