saki newsletter 1/21/14!

Holy cow, what a week! We are very happy to have been a part of this year's Tomorrow Never Knows festival. We had a strong run of incredible in-stores throughout this past week. In case you missed it, we had Diane Coffee, Thin Hymns, Mutual Benefit, Mac and Jim from Superchunk, and Diarrhea Planet playing in the shop. We couldn't be more pleased with all of those bands and the folks who came out to see them. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!

At this time there are no in-stores or events to speak of until the 31st. That's a big lull for us, so make sure you come in and check on us... make sure we're doing ok, you know? It gets lonely in here with just us and all these records.

Come the 31st we've got the monthly return of Freak Happening! This month Nick and Goodrich are teaching us all how to be successful comedians. I mean, look at those guys, they have a super cool monthly comedy show in a marginally successful record store. If you can't take advice from those guys, who can you trust!?

The following week we'll be opening our new art show with Liz and Gabe from Hoofprint Workshop, and a couple other in-stores that we'll fill you in on later. Keep your internet dial here, folks!
