This week we're continuing the sale on Chris Mills, and adding the two new Trouble In Mind releases by Doug Tuttle and Morgan Delt for 20% off!

Chris Mills and the Distant Stars - Alexandria CD and LP

Born out of a chance meeting in the Scandanavian wilderness, "Alexandria" is the latest album by songwriter Chris Mills and his new backing band, The Distant Stars. "Alexandria" braves distance, dark seas and a haunted tape machine to deliver 9 emotionally stark and romantic tales, where echoes of the past become a map to the wild, unknown future.

Doug Tuttle - S/T CD and LP

MMOSS guitarist and songwriter, Doug Tuttle was integral in honing that band's signature sound of West Coast bummer harmonies wrapped taut around a sinewy and dreamy collision of hazy psychedelia and motorik krautrock. As the band dissolved, Tuttle began writing his way through the haze. There is definitely a bittersweet narrative going on throughout the record but with the strength of every single track the listener becomes the willing accomplice. Tuttle deftly forges a sound that all his, weaving nebulous jams into masterfully crafted pop gems.

Morgan Delt - S/T CD and LP

Morgan cites influences from Curt Boettcher to West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band and rounds it out with golden age sunset stip heavies like The Byrds and Love. It's all in there; obsessively studied, mastered and then mutated. The drums pound hard and heavy, while the backups "la-la-la" all over your noggin like a Frankenstein version of The Flaming Lips and Thee Oh Sees. Each track worms it's way into your brain and takes hold.
