We're happy to announce that we're now carrying releases from Chicago's Gary Records! Gary is a new label with just a couple releases under their belt, but they're definitely one to keep an eye on, and no, they're not named after Gary, Indiana.

Forests/White Lodge
FORESTS, the coolest fucking band from Taipei, Taiwan recalls KING KHAN, TELEVISION, & WIRE, while maintaining a level of cosntructive variance that might convince you they hadn't actually ever listened to any of their musical forebears. Queensland, Australia's WHITE LODGE plays music with an old soul. Early rock/surf influences with doo-wop vocalizations while fast paced garage-surf hangs loose over reverb-heavy vox.

Shape Breaker/Fuck Mountain
Thrill to the fuzzed-out guitars, Amishly simple drum beats, & vox that sound like Nikolai Tesla's version of autotune, courtesy of Philadelphia's SHAPE BREAKER. Thrash about to Dublin, Ireland's FUCK MOUNTAIN, whose rampaging tornado of sound psychically channels DINO JR., Bleach-era NIRVANA, & HUEY LEWIS
