Wow, what a week! We welcomed our friends Brandon Wetherbee, Rock Falls and Seth Vanek (among others) back for another Important Records on Wednesday and it as awesome as we thought it would be! Look out for more frequent Important Records installment in the future. We've got some plans brewing!

Then on Thursday we got to see the mighty PILE sell out The Burlington with Fake Limbs and a reunited Ling Ling. That is something we won't soon forget! Were you there? Did you see our buds Cheap Girls at Township instead? We're jealous, but also not that jealous because freakin' PILE was freakin' awesome.

On Friday night we had the opening reception for Adam Hansons new show 'Haute and Bauthered.' There were snacks, and cupcakes and lots of new friends hanging out. You can check out Adam's prints, and the special wallpaper he made exclusively for this show, for the next month or so.

On Saturday we welcomed Cincinnati's Orchards for an in-store with our friends Mawrcrest. Faces were melted. Houses were rocked. It was cool!

We don't have much in the way of events until Freak Happening on the 24th, but we've got a store full of awesome records, and a bunch of new tapes and books for you in the meantime. You're MORE than welcome to come dig in!

Spotify listening station:

These days record stores don't get a ton of promos from bands and labels like the good ol' days, but we know that you still want a chance to listen to a lot of things before you make the decision to buy. To help you out with that we've created a Spotify Listening Station in the store. Sounds fancy, right? It's not. We just bought a burner phone that has WiFi and we created a Spotify account for the store.

If you find yourself flipping through the racks and you realize that you'd like to listen to something before you buy it, just ask at the counter and we'll pull out some headphones and Burnice (that's what we named our burner phone) so you can have a listen!
