Super Bowl! Beast Mode! Deflated Balls! Katy Perry! Katy Perry's sharks! You guys, we had a great week. We watched some foozball and shrugged a bunch of snow off our big, broad Chicago shoulders. I think we all know who's the real Beast Mode here. It's you, and us! Congratulations everyone. You're the real MVPs.

Hopefully most of the snow will go back where it came from by this weekend, because we have a great in-store planned with the Strange Arrangement hip-hop collective! They'll have few different artists performing on Saturday, starting at 3:30pm. Don't miss it!

We're also tabling at Collector's Edition at The Hideout tomorrow night (2/4). The proceeds from all sales will go to the performers, so come out and buy a few records for a good cause... starving local writers and artists.

Next weekend we've got the opening reception for Nick Fisher's art show. You've probably noticed his colorful work adorning a few different businesses around town, including the storefront of our friends at Bric-A-Brac! Make sure you come check out John Bailey's show before it comes down on Friday to make room for Nick's stuff. It's your last chance to pick up that awesome Mr. T print with the Slayer logo. We don't know why that exists, but it's THE BEST.
