While hawking a book about the 800lb gorilla that is China, the good and smart people down at Stratfor posted this page about China's new "ghost towns," where entire cities are apparently built in the remote countryside just to keep productivity up. As of 2010, they have "a mind-boggling 65 million" vacant homes.
