Heard It on the X: The Radio Songs Post

Ed started the ball rolling with a post about Martians and radio, and I inserted a comment suggesting that a list of good radio songs would be worthy of its own post. Many agreed with the first part, but neglected the second part about adding a separate post for this thread.
So in an effort to unbury these nuggets from Comments, here's the first compendium post taken from comments from Ed's original post, in hopes that it will spur further thought, debate, and yearning for a time when radio really freaking mattered and we all only thought it was controlled by The Man, when now it really is.

I will kick start the new list thread with the following, entitled

"One of the Things Is Not Like the Other Ones":

Jimi Hendrix-Radio One
Steely Dan-FM
Donna Summer-Radio
X-The Unheard Music
Triumph-Magic Power
Rush-Spirit of the Radio

Rock and Roll - The Velvet Underground!!! Best Radio song ever! ("Then one fine mornin' she puts on a New York station, You know, she don't believe what she heard at all, She started shakin' to that fine fine music
You know her life was saved by rock 'n' roll")

The Silos - Just This Morning ("heard my favorite record on the radio.... side A! side B!")

Elvis Costello - Radio, Radio
Pavement - Stereo
Queen - Radio Ga Ga (where Ms. Lady got her name)

oh yeah and that "Satellite Radio" song by Steve Earle that Marty used to play ALL THE TIME
