Just found out that we'll be hosting Helado Negro & Serengeti for an Epitonic saki Session next Monday at 5pm!
Helado Negro is one of the many names that Roberto Carlos Lange has performed under. You may also know him as ROM, Epstein, Boom & Birds, or from his recent (and highly recommended) collaboration with Julianna Barwick, Ombre, as well as his contributions to Prefuse 73 and Savath & Savalas.
That's enough right there, I should just stop, but no, we've got Serengeti on the bill too! Serengeti has been single-handedly reinventing hip hop for several years now, collaborating with Son Lux & Sufjan Stevens (as S/S/S), Odd Nosdam, Polyphonic, Owen Ashworth (of Advance Base & Casiotone For The Painfully Alone), Yoni Wolf (of Why?), and even releasing an EP in character as Kenny Dennis, a stereotypical Chicago sports fan. So yeah, you'll want to check this one out!
