saki newsletter 10/16/12!

Another chapter in the saga that is saki is in the books! We had some cool stuff going on this past week with Motion City Soundtrack, Angel Eyes, Good Willsmith & the Powell Brew House folks! Hope some of you made it out for that stuff. If not, we'll see you next time maybe?? This week we've got our new game show at Schubas, the International Movie Betting Game! It's similar to our old Predictive Gaming for Substandard films, but this one is at Schubas, and we've got Joe McAdam hosting, and there is a whole panel of Chicago comedians to give running commentary on what will surely be a terrible, terrible movie. Are stupid, amateur game shows not your thing? Are you more of a pizza, bands & record shopping type? We've also got the 2nd Annual CHIRP Record Crawl stopping by this Saturday! This year we're the last stop on the crawl and we'll be hosting a pizza party for Crawlers that comes complete with Epitonic saki Sessions from The Bingers & Brother George! We'll supply the bands, the records, the pizza and the soda, you can BYOB! Even if you're not participating in the record crawl you can stop by and enjoy the bands (and the alluring smell of pizza). Ok, you're coming now? Good, it's gonna be a partyyyy.

On Sunday we welcome back Another New Calligraphy for another installment of their Pish Posh series. This time around we've got Flux Bikes & A Light Sleeper playing, and readings from ANC's own Robyn & Bill! If past experience is any indicator, there will probably be cupcakes too!
