We had a blast last week with another Once In A Lifetime movie/comedy night at Lincoln Hall and the very last Creative Control! Once In A Lifetime will be back on August 14th, but Creative Control is gone forever. Fear not, comedy fans, even though we're saying goodbye to our good friend, Joe McAdam, we will continue to have comedy on the last Friday of every month! Our friends, and Creative Control regulars, Nick Rouley and Goodrich Gevaart will be taking over the time slot with their new show, Freak Happening! As sad as we are to see Joe go, we can't wait to see what Nick and Goodrich have up their sleeves!
Let's move on to more pressing matters though... this Friday we have our monthly Off The Record listening party! This month we're celebrating the new Lazy record on Moniker. It's called Obsession and you need to hear it! Moniker DJs will spin before the band, followed by a live set from the band and a short Q and A with Notes and Bolts' Kriss Stress! We've got complimentary treats for everyone from Chicago Diner and you're welcome to B your own B! This is going to be an awesome Off The Record. We're so into Obsession and you should be too!
