The Dentists - Some People Are On The Pitch... LP
Lost to the world since 1985, The Dentists emerged from the infamous "Medway" scene that had already spawned The Prisoners, Billy Childish, and The Milkshakes - whose raw sound and stage craft played a crucial role in molding the band's ferocity. This long-player, fuses the aggression of British post-punk with the burgeoning jangle of the 80s underground rock scene and the band's core, paisley-tinted influences of The Beatles, Love and The Byrds.
Joan of Arc - Testimonium Songs CD and LP
Collects the song cycle to be performed live in Testimonium, a work of performace by well-respected experimental theater ensemble Every House Has a Door. In a departure for the band, these highly structured compositions, developed over a two-year rehearsal period, emulate Charles Reznikoff's poetics by shaping themselves according to a mosaic method - rotating a fixed set of musical units in warping permutations
Ken Camden - Space Mirror CD and LP
Ken Camden (IMPLODES) travels to space while still grounded on terra firma. His vessel of choice is a guitar and some effects with which he journeys on fantastical expeditions and surveys the biggest territory of all, the one between your ears. The album forms a gravity-free environment in which the listener is suspended, enhancing an aural excursion to the outer reaches of the musical Kosmos.
