Weekly new release sale!

Each week saki will be offering a handful of new releases for 20% OFF! You can check the blog, Facebook, Twitter, or our newsletter, to find out which titles will be discounted. We'll choose 2-3 titles each week and they'll be discounted for their entire first week of release!

This week we're continuing the sale on Pink Frost, and adding the Eiren Cafall and Girls Against Boys 12" EP for 20% off!

Pink Frost - Sundowning CD and LP

2nd full-length from Chicago group formerly known as APTEKA. They have seamlessly reinvented and redefined the shoegazey aesthetic of Gargoyle Days and refined their sound to produce a superb rock and roll record. While this still retains that certain spacey, heavy and psychedelic, wall-of-sound feel, it transcends previous material by leaps and bounds, gaining comparisons to everything from Ride, Smashing Pumpkins, Dinosaur Jr and The Men. Includes download

Eiren Cafall - Slipping The Holdfast LP

Autumnal tones about the wisdom that comes whether you like it or not. Eiren's soaring voice is the highlight, but her backing band also features some of Chicago's best hired hands.

Girls Against Boys - Ghost List CD and LP

Girls Against Boys 1st new recordings in over 10 years. They return with 5 new absolute cuts, including "It's A Diamond Life", of which Stereogum had the following to state - "Back in the day, they combined punishing and skronked-out post-hardcore dynamics with consciously sexy disco-funk push-pull... they've got a new song called 'It's A Diamond Life,' on which they sound like time has left their attack completely undiminshed. This thing could appear as an unused track from the 'House Of GVSB' (Touch and Go) sessions, and nobody would blink."
