saki's own Matt Byrne is helping with the launch of the Chicago branch of Brightest Young Things, a DC/NYC based arts & culture website. Thing is, in order to start getting things going, they need a base level of mailing list subscribers to receive their weekly event roundup, picking out the most exciting/interesting things happening in the city during the following week.
They don't sell email addresses to advertisers or spammers and unsubscribing is easy if you ever decide you don't want to hear from BYT anymore.
To ensure this post isn't completely self-serving and gross, I've embedded a great video of an empanada truck driving very slowly, yelling nonsense into a neighborhood in Mexico.
