I am a sucker for close harmonies, and for sibling singers who do close harmonies. These brothers straddle the line between country and rock and and have a lot of fun doing it. Sure, you've got your country standards about heartache ("Bye, Bye Love" and "Brand New Heartache") but they shake it up with a cover of Little Richard's "Rip It Up." My favorite track is Poor Jenny - this jumpin' ballad about how Phil (or Don.. I can't tell) took a sweet girl out to her first party, he ditched her when the cops came, and she was pinned as a teenage gang leader and went to jail.Search This Blog
