saki newsletter 7/10/15

Hey, it's the first newsletter on a Friday! Isn't that exciting? No? You're right... let's just get on with it. Join us tomorrow night (Saturday, 6pm) for Tip Your Delivery Boy: A Pizza-Themed Art Show! We'll have pizza from Dimo's and a live set by Glyders. The opening reception is FREE and BYOB.

 

On Sunday we have an early afternoon in-store with Barry Phipps! Barry (The Coctails, Barry Phipps Shop) is celebrating the recent release of his album The Town, which is available at saki now. The Lesser Birds of Paradise will play an opening set at 1pm and Barry will play after that.

 

Our pitchfork ticket giveaway has concluded. If you won a pair of tickets we'll get in touch. Otherwise, we'll hopefully see you at the fest next weekend. You can find us in the CHIRP Record Fair tent!

We're very excited to announce that we're presenting a show at The Burlington on July 23rd with Dave Davidson (Maps and Atlases), Rebecca Ryskalcsyk (from NYC, member of Bethlehem Steel) and Kø (upcoming LP on Joyful Noise)! We'll have more info as the show approaches, like maybe how to get free drinks, etc., so stay tuned!
