saki hosted our second Off the Record listening party in conjunction with the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE). This one was with local label Trouble in Mind and featured a live set by Mikal Cronin and brunch-ish items. Much fun was had at an early hour for rock people on a Sunday. We highlighted Trouble in Mind's February 12th releases Maston Shadows and Jacco Gardner Cabinet of Curiosities.

Extra special thanks to our friends at Bang Bang! Pie Shop, New Wave Coffee, Goose Island, WeeGee's Lounge (& master mixologist Joel, who created and served 2 unique brunch beer cocktails: Shadows and Cabinet of Curiosities), Ayme, Mikal Cronin, Maston, Jacco Gardner, Trouble in Mind. Quite a list of folks who made this the best Sunday morning possible.

Weegee Squirrel IPA

Weegee's Lounge has a special tap this weekend - the Weegee Squirrel IPA (12%abv), a Rye IPA brewed using Weegee's own home grown hops. All proceeds go to the Chicago Police Memorial Fund, to help Operation Santa, and make Christmas a little bit better for police families.

Weegee's Lounge 5 Year Anniversary Party

Please join us at Weegee’s Lounge at 3659 West Armitage on Thursday June 2nd to celebrate the bar’s 5th Anniversary.

All proceeds from $20 bottomless pints will be donated to support Ames Middle School. A photo retrospective from hundreds of Polaroids taken by neighborhood photographer Michael over the last 5 years will be on display. The show is curated by local artist and friend Lindsey Meyers

Fundraiser/pint night for St. Baldrick's Foundation, featuring beers from New Holland Brewing, including Mad Hatter IPA, Full Circle Kolsch, and Dragons Milk Ale. Donate $20 at the door and we'll hand you a pint glass that will be refillable from 7pm to 10pm. I hope to see everyone tomorrow for a fun night of charitable drinking.

Spirited Life Tour @ Weegee's Lounge

On Nov. 16th, Weegee's Lounge (3659 W. Armitage Ave) is looking forward to hosting the Spirited Life tour which will premier New Holland Artisan Spirits to the Chicago area. Beervangelists and spirit advisors will be here to sample the Knickerbocker Gin, Freshwater Rums, Zeppelin Bend straight malt whiskey, and the Dutchess Vodka. Weegee's bartenders have ceated some new innovative cocktails and Belmont Bulesque Revue will be performing.
